Therapy
Dogs International, Inc.
TDI,
inc. will be conducting Therapy Dog Testing the day
of Pet Fest from 11:00am-4:00pm. For anyone interested
in getting their dog tested as a potential TDI inc.
Therapy Dog, it is strongly advised that you go to
the TDI inc, website http://www.tdi-dog.org/
and read over the requirements
for the testing. Then, read over the actual
test. All dogs will be tested on a buckle
collar, you must bring your own buckle collar. You
have until Nov 2 to have your dog ready for the testing.
The fee is $20.00 per dog for the test. All dogs must
be at least 1 year old to be tested. If your dog meets
all the requirements and
passes the actual test it will recieve CGC and TDI.

"The
HELP! SEARCH AND RESCUE DOG TEAM" will
have trainers at their booth (next to the AKC area) all
day to answer questions and offer advice about your dog's
behavior problems or habits. Have you ever thought about
training your dog & yourself for SAR? We invite any
breed or breed combo to try out for our team. We will also
have miracool bandanas for sale in patriotic or camo colors
for $4. We will be hosting an Olympic Steeplechase Game
of speed & agility with prizes for the finalists for
$2 per run. Come on over & meet the SAR team members.
Our commander, Ret. Sgt. Maj. David Twist will give a great
speech on SAR dogs at 3:00 pm on the main stage. |
